Meet Hye Jin. When she was young, she was incredibly cute and had wealthy parents. But as she grew into her teenage years, she didn’t look as cute, and her family’s money situation changed. Now, she’s living with a friend without paying rent, and she works part-time at a convenience store.

One day, her childhood friend, Sung Joon, contacts her and suggests they meet up. Hye Jin recently saw him and noticed how good-looking and fit he had become. To avoid disappointing him, she sends her pretty best friend in her place. What could go wrong, right?

Later on, Hye Jin gets a full-time job and is surprised to find out that Sung Joon is her boss. To make things worse, he treats her with disrespect and dislike. This isn’t the same friend she remembers. So, she decides to keep her true identity a secret from him.
